Established in 2022 by Maher Msaddek, Résidence Teatro is a production and distribution company situated on Djerba Island, Tunisia. Its core objective is to revitalize the local cultural landscape and ensure the democratization of performing arts throughout the Tunisian national territory.

Our initial theatrical project – The Dream of Hannibal (Le Rêve d’Hannibal)

Scripted and performed by Sofiene El Behy, this monodrama follows an expatriate accountant confronting his nation's past. Through a symbolic encounter with Hannibal Barca, he reflects on his own present reality, the complexities of displacement, and the weight of personal exile.
